Hi! I’m Lauri and I am first and foremost a child of God who loves His Word. While I do have a Master of Divinity degree and served as a hospital chaplain for seven years, my greatest education has come from God’s Word and living life with Him.

This blog is for those who sit down to read the Bible and find it intimidating, overwhelming, and, yes, boring. Depending on the book and its content, I will present a chapter, passage or verse at a time. As we read through the Bible together, I will share insights and information I have gleaned along the way. The books of the Bible will be in no particular order. This is made clear as I begin with the book of James.
